The moon in this picture is a glass ornament. The giraffes' manes and tails are beaded fringe. Hold your mouse over the image to see one of three large lions scrutinizing its prey.

The light is on, exposing this transfixed lion spying on the three small giraffes in the distant background of the outer motif.

Perhaps this lion is thinking; "Oh boy, rump roast." as it contemplates this giraffe. Note the African long horn's silhouette at the bottom is now showing through the artshade.
