Hover mouse over this image to see artshade light up. The background fabric for this artshade displayed a pointilistic abstract having no recognizable images within it. Carole’s objective was to transform this abstract into a Monet-type garden scene. She located areas within the print that could possibly create the illusions of a garden path, a stream and flora. She positioned the fabric onto the shade in a manner that aligned these three areas horizontally around it.
